Equality Chelsea awarded $12,600

100 Women Who Care met on June 2 at the Chelsea Depot, where members heard presentations from three local nonprofits before voting to award $12,600 to Equality Chelsea.

“Equality Chelsea is truly humbled to receive this award,” said Kate Mehuron of Equality Chelsea. “We promise to be good stewards of the money we were awarded.

The funding will help Equality Chelsea in transformative ways, and support us in developing and providing life-altering, life-saving support of the LGBTQ people in our community.”
