On June 3, 2025, 100 Women Who Care met at the Chelsea Depot for their second meeting of the year. The evening began with a social hour featuring charcuterie selections and beverages. The three nonprofits that presented were Michigan Friends Center, Home of New Vision and Chelsea Music Boosters. Each organization had ten minutes to provide a recap of their services and then take questions at the conclusion of the presentation. Members of the group in attendance then voted on which 501(c)-3 should receive the gift, and Home of New Vision was the recipient of the members' Impact Award.

Home of New Vision is an organization that provides services to individuals and families affected by the disease of addiction, promoting awareness by providing a better understanding of recovery. DaMira Anderson, Director of Operations for Home of New Vision, said she was deeply grateful to be selected for this meaningful award. The gift will be used to support their clients in a compassionate environment as they make their steps toward recovery and health.

Our member donations will total nearly $13,000! This brings our total donations to all nonprofits since the giving circle was formed to a grand total of $195,000 (including some match grants). The membership continues to grow - 7 new women joined at the meeting! You can complete the membership form online or come to our next Impact Award meeting October 7, 2025 to join or just check us out.
